A LITTLE CLARITY
Good questions.
Straightforward answers.
Do I need a membership to receive care?
Membership is one option, not the only path. Insurance-based primary care begins January 1, 2027, and medical weight loss and hormone optimization are offered as cash-pay services. Contact our team to find the right option.
Which insurance plans will you accept?
Beginning January 1, 2027, Med Sesh will accept Presbyterian Health Plan and Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico for primary care. Please confirm your specific plan, network, and benefits before your visit.
Is direct primary care the same as insurance?
No. Direct primary care is a membership paid directly to the practice. It is not health insurance and does not replace coverage for care outside the membership. Ask our team for current membership details.
Are weight loss and hormone services covered by insurance?
Our medical weight loss and hormone optimization services are offered on a cash-pay basis. They are separate from insurance-based primary care. Please ask about costs and treatment options before starting.
How much does care cost?
Cost depends on the care option you choose. Our team can provide current membership and cash-pay pricing. For insurance-based care, your insurer determines your benefits and applicable copays, deductibles, or coinsurance.
How do I schedule a visit?
Use “Schedule a visit” to open our current scheduling page. If you have questions about choosing care or your insurance plan, contact the practice before booking.
